Linlee celebrated her fourth birthday today with a little, pink cowgirl party. This post is picture heavy, so here we go… First, the ice cream cake (Linlee is very into ice cream these days). Linlee’s name is sort of hidden by the fence:
Linlee had the sweetest smile when everyone was singing happy birthday. The photographer barely caught the end of it…
She’s not ill in this next picture; this is how she looks when she tries to blow out the candles (which she needed a little help with)…
She was very pleased with the horses on her cake. Looks like Rachel was interested too.
Okay, no one is looking in this next shot, but I still like it. (Anne and Rob are snapping pictures.)
My child ignored her piece of cake, but I caught her licking the big cake! (Strangely enough, no one asked for seconds.)
Opening presents…
And then we moved up to the play room for the Big Gift, which was from her grandparents. It was a wonderful wooden doll house from Plan Toys and it was a huge hit!
Notice how the girls are hovering around the doll house and baby Jake is heading for the climbing structure/slide!
“Hmm, let’s see… How is this supposed to go?”
Two little hands on one doll… Luckily there were enough dolls to go around.
Linlee was really taken with the playground equipment. In the picture above, she is putting a doll on the see-saw. (Gosh, I hope I didn’t just need to order the outside toys and not bother with the doll house!)
And that was her little party. The kids all behaved beautifully and I think they had a good time.

Happy Birthday Linlee!! That looks like a super fun party-love the theme:) My favorite picture is the one of her licking the cake! Looks like everyone had a great time and the pictures are wonderful.

That looks like a really fun party! Linlee is so funny licking the cake, I guess she wanted to make sure no one ate it all.

Happy Birthday Beautiful Linlee and Happy New Year to your parents! As the lucky Mom of two four-year-olds (and a seven-year-old – sniffle, sniffle), I can promise you, Colleen, that this will be a lovely, emotional and funny year with Linlee! I concur with the others: The photo of Linlee licking the cake will be a classic in the years to come!

Looks like a really fun party and the birthday girl is a pretty as ever. Your cake looked very yummy..I understand you wanting to lick it so you can save the rest for later;) Your doll house looks really cool. Have fun sweet girl…we have to plan Emma’s special day pretty soon:)

It sure looks like you had a great time at your 4th birthday party, sweet Linlee!! Mommy knew exactly what kind of party theme to have for you; didn’t she? I bet your going to have lots of fun hours playing with your beautiful new doll house! When Mommy caught you licking your cake,,,that was a pretty funny picture, and I loved it! I’m glad that your best friend, Rachel, got to celebrate with you, and baby Jake is just the cutest little guy ever! It looks like everyone had lots of fun!!!

Oh that picture of Linlee licking the cake is priceless! It reminds me of how she leaned in and took a quick little bite out of Rachel’s birthday cake at Rachel’s birthday party! LOL! She is so cute! We had such a great time at Linlin’s party… Rachel is still talking about it. Happy Birthday, again, Linlee!
