I think she’s on the road to recovery, but we’re not there yet. She hasn’t had a fever or thrown up since the first 24 hours. She still has a mild, dry cough. Her voice sounds a bit better today, but I’m willing to bet that she still has a sore throat. Her nose has started running. She actually sat up (several times) today and has eaten some food. That’s positive. But she’s taken long naps and still feels pretty horrible. She rejects all my attempts to make her more comfortable. The best I can do is sit in the room with her, in case she needs me in any way.
I hope she is on the way to recovery…
Feel better soon beautiful Linlee:).
I know you are having a hard time watching her sick and feeling helpless, but sleep is probably the best thing for her right now.
Take care, hugs to you all:).
well, one way to look at this is that she is resting during those long naps, her body is trying to heal itself. Happy to hear that she’s eaten a little something, something.

poor baby
poor baby! That has to be so hard for you to be rejected when all you want to do is make her feel better. I hope next week is better for you all
I so appreciate the flu updates.
Keeps me from calling every 5 minutes!
Hang in there Linlee, Colleen and Rob.
Poor Linlee. Watch that fever for any change in pattern. If it’s up high suddenly, take her in. (And that’s my public service announcement for the day.) It occurred to me recently that because of my own sickness – and that of my kiddos – as well as visiting in-laws, I hadn’t visited your blog in a while. Gracious! What a lovely Halloween fairy princess! And I love that Linlee is a little chef, too! She and Jon would have a blast mucking up the kitchen. Although, let’s be honest, Jon would ungraciously take over. Linlee wouldn’t like that. Neither would I. I’m sorry your little Precious is not interested in comforting. Hopefully she’ll be the picture of health in no time.
Oh, I hope today is better! Poor baby and mommy and daddy.
poor little Linlee, hope she feels better soon.
