Snow!

Snow finally came to the Pacific Northwest this afternoon.  As happy as we are to see it, it did interfere with our plans to head north for dinner at Anne’s (Linlee’s new cold didn’t help matters either).  We’ve been trying to get together with the Davises since the middle of December and can’t seem to make it happen.  Ugh.  Anyhow, we got a nice little bit of the white stuff this afternoon and expect more throughout the night.  Rob and I took the girls out back for building snowmen and throwing snowballs.  Good stuff.  I didn’t concentrate on taking photos as much as having fun with my children.

Darn snowflake blurred out Linlee’s pretty face!

Holly looked at the snow coming down and said, “OH NO!” about a thousand times.

I love to hear Holly say OH NO, that makes me laugh every time, she is just so funny, such a personality!. Such a great snow angel too Linlee! Glad you got some snow since you were wanting some, we are having colder weather here too, but as a born and raised Floridian, 2 days of winter is more than enough for me:). Hugs!

  2. I’m like Holly – only I’m saying “Oh NO, where’s MY snow???” LOL! Love the video – especially how they both turned and waved on command. They are well trained subjects for the mamarazzi! :) Enjoy. I’m hoping ours will finally arrive tonight. We’ll try dinner again soon.

  3. Snow=not beautiful (IMHO) but it looks like the girls had fun. Good luck in getting together with Anne & family.

“Mamarazzi”, that’s a good one! :) LOVE the snow! I felt a pang of jealousy seeing that beautiful snow and I live in MT! lol

Can’t get that video to play. I will try again on my next visit. I actually really like that lovely picture of Linlee. It is too bad that a snow flake interrupted your photo op, but it draws attention to how lovely her eyes are!

Finally got it playing! Love the “bad camera” line. LOL! So sweet to see the girls playing together. And you have the whole family in there, too! Even Duncan! Now if we could just get the camera person out there… Was Holly playing with the snow or trying to clean up the grass? Inexperienced eyes find it hard to tell.
