Lil’ Talker

Linlee likes to pretend to drive the car every time we get home from an outing.  She’s a bit obsessive about it.  As we were driving home last night after dance & dinner, Linlee kept reminding me, “Yinyee drive blue car when we go home.”  I kept responding, “Yes, you can drive the car when [...]

Four years ago today…

We were given the light of our lives.

We are thankful that she is ours to love every single day.

Beautiful Linlee today.

How sweet!

Sorry for the poor quality of this image.  The picture is scanned and we have a terrible scanner.  (The chair is actually a dark, green velvet, not black.)  We made a quick trip to the mall today because I decided that I needed a pretty mold for the cranberry salad next week.  Santa had already [...]

Sunday

Linlee is definitely on the mend.  Her symptoms have all but disappeared.  She did, however, wake up in the foulest of moods this morning and I finally had to put her in time-out because she was purposely trying to cause trouble so that she had a reason to fuss.  After the fourth or fifth time, [...]

Update

Linlee woke up from her nap feeling much better.  For the first time all week she dumped her toys all over the floor to play with them all.  She’s done some chatting and singing as well.  I’m feeling relieved this evening.

Viral Pneumonia

Last night was dismal.  Linlee’s fever returned higher than before and I freaked out (because I’d read that when their fever goes away for a few days and comes back, that’s a bad sign), so we took her to the walk-in clinic at 7:30 last night.  She was one sick little girl.  They did a [...]
