Only Dog

Skipper is now an only dog.  The first couple weeks after Penny passed we felt he was a bit lost.  He didn’t seem to enjoy his walks so much.  He wasn’t stopping to do all his regular sniffs, but walked along because that was the routine and nothing more.  In the last week he seems to be bouncing back.  Maybe he is slowly forgetting that he had a best friend.  We do plan on getting him a new best friend, but that most likely won’t happen until the fall.  In the meantime, we will dote on Skipper and give him all the extra loves we have.  We miss Penny too.
