Less is more.

I just had one of the best Christmases ever.  I believe my family experienced the typical amount of holiday joy (which is plenty), but I managed to up my pleasure in the season by letting some things go.  Three weeks is not a lot of time to provide the most perfect Christmas ever, yet I normally …

Locks of Love

Oh, yes we did.  We chopped off this beautiful hair.  I definitely have some guilt, but it was simply too much for Linlee to manage and I’m trying to teach her independence.  My beautician cut the hair off in pony tails to be donated.  Linlee afterward, looking the way I always think of her.  Shoulder …

Frosty Morning

We were promised snow on Monday and while we did see some flakes, nothing stuck.  The girls and I were pretty disappointed.  We are now being told that tomorrow could be snowy, but I’m not falling for that trick again.  We are making do with our frosty mornings, which are quite lovely…I was fascinated at …

Holiday Ice Skating Program

I don’t actually have pictures or video of the girls’ ice skating routine to Jingle Bell Rock – but it was really cute.  We’re not allowed to take flash photography while they skate and without it, the pictures are just a blur.  Also, we’ve discovered that buying the professional video is the way to go …
